The second biennial conference of the Edvard Grieg Society of the Great Lakes, held in Indianapolis (Indiana), is dedicated to Edvard Grieg and his influence on the fin-de-siècle French composers, and includes recitals, lectures, and a pre-college piano competition. - Emile Naoumoff, pianist: Last pupil of Nadia Boulanger and professor of piano at Indiana University
- Njål Sparbo, bass-baritone: 2009 Grieg Prize winner and eminent singer in Scandinavia
- Einar Røttingen, pianist: Robert Levin Festival Prize winner of the Bergen International Festival and professor of piano at the Grieg Academy (Bergen, Norway)
- Indianapolis Quartet: Ensemble-in-residence at University of Indianapolis, elite string ensemble of widely-acclaimed musicians
- Ronen Chamber Ensemble: Musicians of the Indianapolis Symphony and beyond
- Daniel Grimley, musicologist: Professor of Music at Oxford University, specialist in Scandinavian and English music
- Leslie Kearney, musicologist: based in New Haven (CT), specialities include connections between language and music
